Bethel Christian School has been open for six years. During this time, the first wing of the school has served all of our children’s needs. However, if something does not change, next year’s 7th graders will have nowhere to go due to lack of space. We need to build a second wing that will insure all our students have a lasting home.

On October 15, 2014, Bethel Christian School opened its doors and began its ministry to the children of a neighborhood on the outskirts of the capital City. They started with Kindergarten and 1st grade students, and then added a new class each year. The results are simply miraculous. Scores of children are growing up knowing God and loving Jesus as they read their Bibles, memorize Scripture, share their faith with friends and family, and pray for one another daily.
THE DREAM of starting a biblically based school began to take shape as far back as 2003. We noticed that there were negative trends in the country’s educational system that caused students to recoil from education rather than embrace it. While searching for a solution, a dream was born: To provide children with a nurturing environment that would teach its students from Scripture and emphasize Godly character as the base of its educational system.
GROWTH OFTEN GENERATES growing pains. Our growth challenge is the limited size of our facility. Each year we added a new grade for the students moving up, and that grade filled another classroom. BUT NOW WE ARE AT CAPACITY. Consequently, this year’s 6th graders will have no classroom space when they move up to the 7th grade next year. They need your help.
OUR VISION is to build a second wing in order to accommodate all students through the 12th grade. This plan will include six 20’ X 23’ classrooms that hold between 25 to 28 students per class, totaling between 150 to 168 students each year (or, 300 to 336 students for both wings of the school).
OUR ONLINE GOAL is to complete the first phase of this plan by raising $25,000 for the first two classrooms before the next school year (October 2021).
